My name is Nathalie Paterson. I am a certified Facilitative Mediator for civil, commercial and workplace disputes. I trained at the London School of Mediation and am accredited by the International Mediation Institute, the Civil Mediation Council and the College of Mediators.

I specialise in Transformative Mediation.

About me

I have a first class law degree from Durham University,  specialised in civil litigation at one of the UK’s top firms, Addleshaw Goddard, and have been running my own businesses for 17 years, dealing with clients from all walks of life on a daily basis.  

"It's not personal - it's just business." My experience tells me that this is never the case. Everything is personal and the full range of human emotions are engaged in even the driest of commercial disputes. Which is why I strongly believe that Transformative Mediation is one of the best methods of helping things work and working things out. .
Based in Winchester and London, I am happy to mediate online or in-person.  I am fully insured and registered with the Data Protection Commissioner.
Specialist areas of knowledge/experience include commercial contracts, interior design, architecture and defamation.

My services

  • A 4-6 hour, in-person, mediation for two to three participants at a venue of your choice or one I can organise.

  • An 8 hour, in-person mediation for two to three participants at a venue of your choice or one I can organise.

  • A 2-6 hour online mediation.

THE OVERVIEW EFFECT

…IS THE PHENOMENON MANY ASTRONAUTS EXPERIENCE WHEN THEY LOOK BACK AT THE EARTH FROM OUTER SPACE.

IT IS A COGNITIVE SHIFT PROMPTED BY A FEELING OF AWE UPON VIEWING THE EARTH FROM SPACE, AWAKENING AN INCREASED SENSE OF CONNECTION TO OTHER PEOPLE AND TO THE EARTH AS A WHOLE. THE EFFECT CAN CAUSE CHANGES IN THE OBSERVER’S SELF PERCEPTION AND VALUE SYSTEM AND CAN BE TRANSFORMATIVE.
