Listening is at the heart of my practice.

My name is Nathalie Paterson. I am a certified Facilitative Mediator for civil, commercial and workplace disputes. I trained at the London School of Mediation and am accredited by the International Mediation Institute, the Civil Mediation Council and the College of Mediators.

I specialise in workplace listening, corporate dialogue and Transformative Mediation for dispute resolution.

Workplace listening: being fully heard in a private and confidential setting on any personal matters to do with your job (but of course, it’s never ‘just business’.)

Corporate dialogue: supporting you and your colleagues in having the best conversations you possibly can.

Transformative Mediation: taking the dispute as an opportunity to transform yourself and the relationship(s) in question. This can be instantaneous.

About me

I have a first class law degree from Durham University,  and specialised in civil litigation at one of the UK’s top firms, Addleshaw Goddard. I have been running my own businesses since 2007, speaking with clients and professional service providers on a daily basis.  

"It's not personal - it's just business." My experience tells me that this is never the case. Everything is personal and the full range of human emotions are engaged in even the driest of commercial disputes. Which is why I strongly believe that Transformative Mediation is one of the best methods of helping things work and working things out. .
With offices in London and Winchester, I am happy to mediate online or in-person.  I am fully insured and registered with the Data Protection Commissioner.
My specialist areas of knowledge/experience include civil litigation (and in particular defamation) , commerce, interior design and architecture.

My services

  • A 4-6 hour, in-person, mediation for two to three participants at a venue of your choice or one I can organise.

  • An 8 hour, in-person mediation for two to three participants at a venue of your choice or one I can organise.

  • A 2-6 hour online mediation.

THE OVERVIEW EFFECT
